Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Java Time account and all associated data at any time. There are two ways to do this: directly from inside the app, or by emailing us.

Option 1: Delete from inside the app (fastest)

  1. Open the Java Time app on your phone.
  2. Sign in with your account.
  3. Go to Settings (bottom navigation).
  4. Tap Account.
  5. Tap Delete account.
  6. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Your account and all associated data are removed immediately and cannot be recovered.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you've already uninstalled the app or can't sign in, email us from the address registered to your account:

We will action requests within 30 days and confirm by reply.

What gets deleted

Account (email, name, password hash) Permanently deleted
Focus sessions, streaks, stats Permanently deleted
To-dos, mood log, plants, equipped items Permanently deleted
Beans (in-app currency) Permanently deleted (no real-world value)
App settings & preferences Permanently deleted

What may be retained

This action is permanent

Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered, and any unspent beans, purchased cups, or earned achievements are lost. If you've purchased "Remove Ads," that entitlement remains tied to your store account (Google / Apple) and can be restored on a new Java Time account via Settings → Ad preferences → Restore purchase.
